| Francois started in music at an early age. He started out playing the clarinet, Sax & other woodwind instruments, played in the marching band, pep band & concert band for his high school and collage years. He has played and traveled with several groups. He has an extensive background in music (both vocal and instrumental) which began in grade school. Francois joined Rising Star in 1982 as a vocalist in addition to playing guitar. 0ne of the four Originals. He has been influential in the show with costumes, choreography and comedy routines. He enjoys playing on the road in the United States and Overseas, especially Japan. Francois is also an accomplished hairstylist and Master in martial arts (www.masterdixon.com).
